SASO's most important achievements: Approved Saudi Standards until now more than 24778 standards. The number of approved Gulf standards is 5585 standards. The number of Saudi standards drafts under preparation is 1500 drafts. Industrial factories given the Quality Mark are 270 factories. Approved Laboratories are 61 laboratories. Number of companies and factories recommended by SASO to get validity of human consumption certificates for exporting purpose is 362 factories. Samples which were analyzed in Quality Mark Labs and calibrations done in Calibration Lab are 292478 samples and 132765 reports. In frame of the program of confirmatory of certificate from the country of origin (ICCP) that implement on 66 commodities of groups, SASO achieve the following: The number of registered company in the program is 5641 company. The number of registered products in the program is 7168 product. Whereas the program was at the end of August in 2004.
