Introduction
 
Upon the decision of the Board of Directors of the Organization No. (4), at its meeting no. (124), date 20.02.1428, which ordered to amend the list of Certificate of Conformity and adding of item number (6), which states that the Organization implements agreements on mutual recognition in the Certificate of Conformity with other countries through bodies and similar bodies, most notably standardization.
In line with agreements WTO, particular the Convention on Technical Barriers to Trade TBT, which encourages the application of conformity assessment procedures, which include mutual recognition of certificates, and to ensure conformity of imported products to the specifications and technical regulations.
With this in mind and to ensure the credibility of the certificates that are included with the missionary, the Organization implements programs of mutual recognition of conformity certificates and quality marks with many countries, which aims to do those bodies with the program of recognition to take necessary action to complete the procedures for issuance certificate of conformity for the consignment, to be exported to the Kingdom, to facilitate the transit through the border without technical obstacles.
 
What is the mutual recognition of quality marks and certificates of conformity?
 
A program based on the principle of mutual recognition of certificates of conformity and quality marks made by the parties who signed it, and is aimed at verification of goods in conformity with the standards of their own, to facilitate trade between the two countries, also to prevent technical barriers, repeat Inspection and test for the purposes of Glades customs in border, also includes the exchange of information about conformity assessment services in both countries as well as the technical regulations of each country.
The organization added article (6) to the list of Certificate of Conformity, which states on the implementation of agreements on mutual recognition in the field of certificates of conformity with other countries through the bodies and similar bodies, and in particular by standardization bodies, as this measure promoted by the World Trade Organization, and contributes the verification of conformity of goods to the specifications required, which facilitates trade between countries.
 
Management of mutual recognition
 
The organization has set up recently management of mutual recognition within the general administration, to adjust the quality in the organization and implements the programs for the mutual recognition between the organization and the largest possible number of countries in the field of quality marks and certificates of conformity, to facilitate intra-regional trade, particularly those who trade with Saudi Arabia.

The organization has signed on programs of mutual recognition of quality marks and certificates of conformance with accredited certification bodies such as:
Turkey, Malaysia, Tunisia, Singapore, South Africa, Germany, Argentina, China, South Korea, Philippines, Pakistan, Jordan, Egypt, Indonesia.
 Also signed with intertech International Co. to examine and tests the program in recognition of conformity certificates, issued by it in the following countries:
America, Italy, France, Sweden, Britain, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Germany.
The organization is currently negotiating with a number of certification bodies or international companies for examination and testing, to sign with them, and is expected to sign with several bodies in different locations of the world in 2010.
