The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is already tending to use all means of modern technology with to facilitating matters for manufactures and traders finalizing their procedures and accomplishing their interests in an easy manner this would contribute to time and effort saving and to performing required work perfectly. The government of the custodian of the two holy mosques , king Abdullah ben abdulaziz is striving seriously to promote all sectors of the state and to develop their performance & services rendered to citizens in compliance with its aspirations to cope with the spirit of the age and following it , developments in all areas. The state has achieved a great progress in the information technology field and its different application . it has also made wide steps towards the electronic government through the electronic dealings program adopted by various government sectors.

The Saudi Arabian standards org. (saso) is considered as a good  example to be followed in applying modern techniques and adopting electronic solutions through the continuous development of saso's electronic web site with the aim of providing its services electronically for private & public sectors as well as for all citizens. This contributes effectively to the improvement of performance , raising the level of services , continuous development and achieving the expectations      & ambitions saso is aspiring for.

It is worth mentioning that saso's electronic site provides more than(15) fifteen electronic services for different industrial and quality fields. Saso is also careful  to always let above sectors be acquainted with its latest publications and the efforts being exerted to improve the quality of commodities , promote their plans and programs and to help them in solving their technical problems and developing their performance in order to face variables and developments under the kingdom's joining  WTO.

In conclusions we would like to confirm that developing saso's electronic site has won the approval of all and has contributed effectively to supporting saso's     progress and creating a specific & distinctive more in work techniques and manners coping with the requirements of this age under the instructions of the rational government and the continuous follow up and support it receives from H.E/ Dr. Hashem A.
